Arriving late this March is the Blu-ray and DVD release of Marcus Dunstan (‘Piranha 3DD’) and Patrick Melton’s (‘Saw 3D’) horror sequel ‘The Collection’. It’ll be hitting Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and of course Video On Demand courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment all from 26 March 2013. Both Blu-ray and DVD releases will include commentary from director/co-writer Marcus Dunstan and co-writer Patrick Melton plus a bunch of behind-the-scenes mini-featurettes and alternate and deleted scenes galore. ‘The Collection’ sees the return of Arkin, played by Josh Stewart (‘The Dark Knight Rises’), and co-stars Christopher McDonald (‘The Faculty’), Daniel Sharman, Andre Royo, Navi Rawat, Lee Tergesen, Eaddy Mays, Brandon Molale, Shannon Kane, Justin Mortelliti, Robert Pralgo, William Peltz and Tim Griffin.
“When Elena’s (Fitzpatrick) friends take her to a secret party at an undisclosed location, she never imagined she would become the latest victim of The Collector, a psychopathic killer. The Collector kidnaps and transports her to an abandoned hotel he’s transformed into his own private maze of torture and death. Upon learning of his daughter’s disappearance, Elena’s wealthy father hires a group of mercenaries to retrieve her from the vicious grips of The Collector.
