    13 HORRORS AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER


    ’13 Horrors’, a new limited edition anthology to be published by the Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society (KaCSSFS) Press in April, is now available for pre-order. The anthology will be officially released at the 13th World Horror Convention in Kansas City, MO, April 17-20, 2003.


    The new anthology, edited and introduced by Brian A. Hopkins, includes a foreword by Joe R. Lansdale and features 13 new and original horror stories by masters of the genre: Graham Masterton, Steve Rasnic Tem, Melanie Tem, Gene Wolfe, John Shirley, Ramsey Campbell, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Nina Kiriki Hoffman, Charles L. Grant, Jessica Amanda Salmonson, Michael Bishop, Edward Bryant, and Michael Slade. This devil’s dozen featured authors have all been honored guests of the World Horror Convention.


    Two editions of the anthology will be published:

    ￿ A trade paper edition (cover by Brom), limited to 650 copies, priced at $19.95.

    ￿ A hardcover edition, limited to 150 copies, priced at $75.00. The hardcover edition will feature a full cloth binding, full-cover dust jacket by award-winning dark fantasy artist Brom, and illustrated end sheets by Kansas City artist Allison Stein. This limited edition hardcover will also be signed by all participants – the authors, the editor, and the artists – a total of 17 signatures!
