DEAD & BREAKFAST NEWS
Some horror films sneak under the radar without anyone ever hearing a word about them. There’s been one project, entitled ‘Dead & Breakfast,’ that’s doing a fine job of keeping quiet. Believe it or not, the Corner and Fangoria have been the only two horror outlets interested in this supposed gorefest. Well, we’re not going to let this one slip by. Oh no.
The Corner spoke to FX maniac Ralis Khan today to inquire about the project (we’re lining up interviews) only to find out there’s an in-depth website chronicling the making of the film. With a cast like David Carradine, Bianca Lawson (‘Bones’), Gina Phillips (‘Jeepers Creepers’), Jeremy Sisto (‘May’), and Portia de Rossi (‘Scream 2’) you’d think there’d be more buzz about the film. ‘Dead & Breakfast’ concerns a group of travelers who take a breather at a bed and breakfast only to become involved in a suspected murder. An evil spirit factors into the mix, bloody situations ensue. The site is describing the film as ‘Evil Dead 2’ meets ‘From Dusk Till Dawn.’ That’s a nice combination to me.
The project is currently in post-production but keep checking back for further updates.
