EXPECT CHUCKY RUMOURS
Since the exciting Childs Play sequel news posted here yesterday there has been an uprise in the amount of not-so-sure talk from some of the big boys of online horror.
The Creature Corner’s rumour bashing ended with this to say…
‘The Corner checked into this bit o’ news the minute we saw it sprout up. We spoke to someone from the Don Mancini camp (that’s the writer of the entire series) today and have learned that this latest rumor is as hollow as Chucky’s plastic limb. No, New Line is not eyeing the property. No, there’s no movement on a fifth film.’
So Bloody Disgusting got in on the act to help us not to get our hopes up for any potential sequels to the Childs Play series…
‘My contact at New Line also says that she has not heard anything about this as well. So as of right now, take it as Childs Play 5 = still dead. But here’s to hoping that New Line is trying to keep this underwraps and that there’s some truth to it.’
Damnit..It does not look good guys.
