Jeremy Sisto Part of Population 436
Variety reports that Jeremy Sisto, rapidly becoming a genre specialist with roles in MAY, WRONG TURN and PARANOIA 1.0 among others, will star in POPULATION 436, a psychological thriller to be produced by Gavin (SECRET WINDOW) Polone for Sony Pictures release. Sisto will play a census taker who travels to a small town to find out how it has maintained the same number of residents (see the title) for 100 years. Needless to say, the reasons are scarier than he expected. The movie will be directed by X FILES veteran Michelle MacLaren from a script by newcomer Michael Kingston; rocker Fred Durst will also star, with filming set to take place in Winnipeg, Canada starting next month.
