MOSTOW SITS FOR SECONDS
Variety reports that Jonathan (T3) Mostow has come on board to direct SECONDS, Paramounts remake of John Frankenheimers 1966 thriller SECONDS. Mostow was actually the first helmer attached to the project, but left early in its development to take on the Schwarzenegger sequel. Jon (THE CORE) Amiel stepped in as his replacement, but then also departed, and now Mostow is back on board and will rewrite the script. His take will reportedly hew closer to David Elys original novel than did Frankenheimers Rock Hudson-starrer, in which an aging businessman has his identity and life transformed by a mysterious company, with ultimately dire results. Mostows partner Hal Lieberman and OMEN veteran Mace Neufeld will produce the second SECONDS.
