RE-ANIMATOR 4 MADNESS?
Okay, so a few days back a little bitty rumor started popping up on the ‘net about a possible fourth ‘Re-Animator’ movie, to tentatively titled ‘House of Re-Animator’.
Well, before Creature Corner reported on it with nothing to back them up, they decided to check with a source that might know something about it: Stuart Gordon. Here’s what he told them:
‘I’ve been trying to talk Brian [Yuzna] into doing a fourth RE-ANIMATOR film. It’s called HOUSE OF RE-ANIMATOR. The house in the title is the White House.
You can’t get much scarier than George W. Bush.
The story starts with Dick Cheney having a massive heart attack and dying. Since he’s been running the country, they need to bring Herbert West in to re-animate him.
West walks in to find Bush sitting on Cheney’s bed shaking the body of the dead vice-president. ‘Wake up, Dick. Wake up.’ A secret service guy turns to West, ‘The President hasn’t been briefed yet.’
The movie could be described as RE-ANIMATOR meets DR. STRANGELOVE.’
Far fetched? A bit, yes, but it must might work if they keep the ‘Dr. Strangelove’ quotient high. Who knows. Then again, considering the date, we might be in for a surprise ourselves…
