‘Paranormal Activity’ creator Oren Peli moves to the small screen with his new supernatural ABC pilot for ‘The River’. Over the past few weeks it’s been picking up new cast members left, right and center. We’ve had Joe Anderson (‘The Crazies’, ‘The Ruins’), Bruce Greenwood (‘Star Trek’), Eloise Mumford – below (‘Lone Star’) and Paul Blackthorne all sign up for Jaume Collet-Serra (‘Orphan’) helmed pilot and now we’re hearing that actress ’24’ and ‘The Mentalist’ star Leslie Hope to play the lead female, Tess Cole. Peli will co-produce along with Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Check out the plot details for the spooky new show below.
