Genre vet Bill (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) Moseley dropped Fango a line about his role in the upcoming chiller HOUSE, which reunites him with REJECTS co-stars Leslie Easterbrook and Lew Temple. Moseley stars as Stewart, the evil proprietor who runs an isolated inn with his wife Betty (Easterbrook) and their demented son Pete (Temple), and can “see” his victims’ darkest fears and secrets. “When two stranded couples come to call, the mayhem begins,” the actor tells us. “HOUSE is the Roach Motel of horror: People check in, but they don’t check out!” Michael (SPECIES) Madsen also stars, with Robby Henson directing in Lodz, Poland for producer Ralph Winter and Namesake Pictures.
HOUSE is based on a novel by Christian-lit genre specialists Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker, whose previous books include the biblical chiller THE VISITATION and the serial-killer opus THR3E respectively. Both novels were previously filmed by Namesake with Henson at the helm; THR3E also shot in Lodz and featured Moseley, along with Marc (THEY) Blucas, Justine Waddell and yet another REJECTS vet, Priscilla Barnes. (Fox released THE VISITATION on disc this past February and has THR3E on tap for later this year—whether theatrically or direct to DVD has yet to be announced—and will likely also distribute HOUSE.)
