Losing a baby tooth is a joy for children; it means a visit from the Tooth Fairy overnight and a nice little reward under the pillow in the morning. But what if this childhood figure was actually an evil witch, and losing a tooth meant losing your soul? That’s the scenario presented in THE TOOTH FAIRY, coming on DVD from Anchor Bay August 8. Produced by Stephen J. Cannell and directed by Chuck Bowman, the film stars Lochlyn (SCARY MOVIE) Munro, Carrie (MASTERS OF HORROR: JENIFER) Fleming, Jesse (FREDDY VS. JASON) Hutch and WHITE NOISE’s Chandra West as a group staying at a country bed and breakfast built on the site of an old witch’s house. The witch lured young children into her home, stole their last baby teeth and butchered them, cursing their souls to remain on Earth. Now her spirit has been awakened, and when Darcy’s (West) young daughter Pamela (Nicole Munoz) loses a tooth, the evil Tooth Fairy will stop at nothing to claim it—and the girl’s soul.
