Florida-based Fear Film Independent Productions Inc. just sent word to Fango about its latest project, THE EVIL WITHIN. Written and directed by Luke Benedetto from a story by producer Robert J. (REALMS OF BLOOD) Massetti, THE EVIL WITHIN is about a painting that has been repeatedly added to over several decades—by serial killers who use pieces of their victims. When the sick piece of art ends up in the hands of a collector, mysterious things start happening to him and his family.
“We found some really talented people to work on this project, and we are very excited to start production,” Massetti says. “This is the biggest Fear Film production to date, and our fans are going to be pleasantly surprised when they see this film.” The cast is headed by REALMS’ Sheyenne Rivers, Amber (BROKEN) Crawford and Bryan Power, and will begin production in South Florida on June 24 with plans to wrap in August. Massetti is also slated to helm a remake of the Tim Ritter-scripted 1986 gorefest TRUTH OR DARE later this year.
