Production has kicked off on new supernatural British horror ‘Residue’. The Alex Garcia Lopez (‘Utopia’, ‘Misfits’) helmed horror from Matador Pictures is directed from a script by writer John Harrison (‘Book of Blood’) and stars ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Natalia Tena (below) who will play photojournalist Jennifer Preston who uncovers a supernatural cause behind an explosion that left her city in chaos. Tena, who plays Osha in the hit HBO fantasy series, is also better known for her role as Nymphadora Tonks in the ‘Harry Potter’ series.
The title of the movie is most likely referring to some form of leftover supernatural ooze or ectoplasm. More details on this project soon.
