Sounding more like a gay musical Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim’ has received it’s kick-off date! The Legendary Pictures production had already announced its intended 21 July 2013 release date but there was no word on when the cameras would actually roll. But now, thanks to the HR, the project has booked itself in to Pinewood Toronto Studios for 6 months April 2012. It will start shooting in Toronto on the Pinewood soundstages from 31 October 2011. The alien invasion movie will star ‘Green Street’ and ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Charlie Hunnam and possibly ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Charlie Day and hit BBC series ‘Luther’ star Idris Elba.
