‘[REC] 3: Genesis’ is set to premiere stateside at this months SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas ahead of its nationwide Spain release. The Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero prequel to the previous two [REC] installments will deal with a beautiful wedding day that goes awry when all sorts of unspeakable violence and bloodshed occurs. And now a new French international poster has arrived which features the blushing bride. It also includes a tagline in French which translates to “This should be the happiest day of my life.” The prequel stars Leticia Dolera, Diego Martin, Javier Botet, Àlex Monner, Ismael Martínez, Ana Isabel Velásquez, Mireia Ros, Itziar Castro, Blai Llopis and Emilio Mencheta. “Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. Everything appears to be running smoothly, and the bride and groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day–that is, until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding.
