Horror-Comedy ‘Mirrored’ Set to Play Screamfest 2015

Hello fellow Horror-philes! Good to meet you, even in viral form (but, not that kind of viral). I have contributed to this website before as a writer; you may have seen my spiritiedly negative review of the MTV Scream series. Hopefully you enjoyed that. Today, I’m here to talk about a film I wrote/ produced called ‘Mirrored’.

It’s a horror-comedy in the vein of Evil Dead 2 or Re-Animator about a depressed, gamer dude who gets a new mirror installed in his bathroom, much to his chagrin. And what results is a hellish journey of self-discovery whenever he looks in the mirror. The director (Ryan Shovey) and I wanted to create the type of film that we loved watching, reminiscent of classic horror films from John Carpenter or Sam Raimi. Thankfully, the film has resonated with other people, as well. “Mirrored” will be playing in select horror film festivals! I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of getting a film into a festival. It makes the hard work, the sacrifices, the long hours, the drained bank accounts, all worth it. It’s a dream come true to see that our film will be seen by thousands of people.

“Mirrored” will be playing Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Hollywood, CA; RIP Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA and the Puerto Rico Horror Film Festival in San Juan, Puerto Rico. If you’re in Los Angeles or San Juan, please check out the film! It won’t disappoint 🙂

Screamfest Film Festival Screening will be on October 17th — here’s the link for tickets: http://screamfestla.com/tickets/mirrored

And here are the links to the 2 other film festivals showing “Mirrored.”

I’ll be at both Los Angeles premieres of “Mirrored,” come by and say hey! I would love to meet fellow horror fans!
