New sci-fi project ‘Transcendence’ marks the talented cinematographer Wally Pfister’s directorial debut. And now EW has debuted the first look images from the production currently in post. The two new images feature stars Johnny Depp (‘Pirates of the Caribbean’), Cillian Murphy (‘Sunshine’) and Morgan Freeman (‘Now You See Me’). Christopher Nolan is on board as producer with Warner Bros and Summit Entertainment set to distribute next April. Pfister has previously worked his magic on a number of Chris Nolan helmed features than includes ‘Inception’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Paul Bettany (‘Legion’), Rebecca Hall (‘The Awakening’), Cole Hauser, Kate Mara (‘House of Cards’), Josh Stewart (‘The Collector’) and Clifton Collins Jr. also star. Check out the pics below.
“Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions. ‘Transcendence’ opens in the US on 18 April 2014 and here in the UK on the 25th.
