I remember back when Lindsay Lohan (‘Machete’) was all set to star in Hong Kong director Susanna Lo’s ‘Manson Girls’. She was quickly replaced with Thora Birch (‘The Hole’, ‘American Beauty’) whom has also reportedly dropped from the project. Well it’s lucky we still have a slew of hot female cast members including Laura Harring (‘One Missed Call’), Monica Keena (‘Night of the Demons’), Stella Maeve (‘My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2’) and the sexy Estella Warren (below) who are all still on board. Of course the notorious Charles Manson role was still up for grabs. And it’s to be filled by horror legend Bill Moseley (‘The Devil’s Rejects’). Eric Balfour (‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’), Tania Raymonde (‘Lost’), Brit Morgan (‘True Blood’), Jennifer Landon, Chad Faust, Patti D’Arbanville, Heather Matarazzo, and Michael Monks round off the large line-up.
“‘Manson Girls’ follows a young girl from a wealthy Malibu family who fell under Manson’s spell. She was not one the “Family” members involved in the clan’s infamous murder spree but was later imprisoned after she became involved with the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory (after the fact) to murder.”
The shoot for ‘Manson Girls’ is set to commence this March in LA.
