Last week we found out that ‘Sin City’ sequel ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ was finally moving into production. The project sees Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller return for the follow-up and the former has been chatting to MTV about some exciting casting news. Already it seems we have two returning players from the original in the form of hard man Mickey Rourke and the sexy Rosario Dawson (below). We’re certain these won’t be the only two original cast members that’ll return and there is quite the variety box of performers we could se in green screen action once more that include the likes of Benicio Del Toro (‘Snatch’), Michael Clarke Duncan (‘The Green Mile’), Carla Gugino (‘Sucker Punch’), Rutger Hauer (‘Blade Runner’), Clive Owen (‘Intruders’), Nick Stahl (‘Mirrors 2’), Bruce Willis (‘The Sixth Sense’) and Elijah Wood (‘Maniac’). Rodriguez also confirmed that a 3 story structure would likely be used again. Production will commence sometime this Summer at Rodriguez’s own Troublemaker Studios in Texas. The director is also currently casting for his Grindhouse-styled sequel ‘Machete Kills’, starring Danny Trejo.
