News that will send tingling goodness right to the epicentre of my girlfriends lower regions is that a planned spin-off series from CW’s popular blood sucking drama ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is coming our way. The show, entitled ‘The Originals’, will revolve around a family of ‘original’ vampires which are to be introduced in an upcoming episode of the VD’s. The spin-offs’ arrival will depend greatly on the success of the planned episode set to air on 25 April which will star both Joseph Morgan as Klaus and the sexy Phoebe Tonkin (below) who will reprise her role as Hayley the werewolf.
“‘The Originals’ centers on the Original family of vampires, as Klaus (Morgan) returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel. Tonkin also stars, reprising her Vampire Diaries character as werewolf Hayley that was introduced this past fall.”
