Spooky tale ‘The Pact’ has received a limited US theatrical release from 6 July this year courtesy of IFC Midnight. Marking the feature debut of filmmaker Nicholas McCarthy the movie itself is based on his own short of the same name. ‘The Pact’ stars Kathleen Rose Perkins, Caity Lotz -below (‘Death Valley’), Haley Hudson, Casper Van Dien (‘Starship Troopers 3: Marauder’), Agnes Bruckner (‘Blood and Chocolate’) and Sam Ball (‘The Event’) and is produced by Preferred Content’s Ross M. “When their mother dies, sisters Annie and Nicole finally begin to face their disturbing childhood, and the time they spent locked in the ‘punishment room.’ Soon Nicole visits her mother’s house to deal with the estate and spend the night — and mysteriously vanishes.
