‘Paranormal Activity’ creator Oren Peli has been updating his Facebook page with some exciting news about his new ABC project ‘The River’. The exciting news in question is the air date of the new supernatural ‘found footage’ thrill series. And if anyone knows his stuff it’s Peli. ABC’s ‘The River’ will premiere on Tuesday 7 February at 9:00pm and the pilot episode is helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra (‘Orphan’). The series stars Joe Anderson (‘The Crazies’), Eloise Mumford (‘Lone Star’), Thomas Kretschmann, Bruce Dern, Leslie Hope and ‘Paranormal Activity’s Katie Featherston. Check out the plot info below.
“The River follows the story of wildlife expert and TV personality Emmet Cole. Emmet set course around the world with his wife, Tess, and son, Lincoln, while filming what would become one of the most popular shows in television. After he goes missing deep in the Amazon, his family, friends and crew set out on a mysterious and deadly journey to find him.
