It seems that zombies are shuffling slower than ever these days as Paramount’s ‘World War Z’ project has been pulled from its expected 21 December 2012 release and pushed all the back 6 months to 21 June 2013. Marc Forster is in the directors chair and working from an adapted screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan. The new action horror is based on the novel by Max Brooks and stars Brad Pitt (who is also producing). Mireille Enos, Anthony Mackie, James Badge Dale, Julia Levy-Boeken, David Morse (‘Disturbia’) and Bryan Cranston (‘Breaking Bad’) all co-star in the project.

‘World War Z’ will now open across the US from 21 June 2013.
