The movie everybody’s talking about is finally hitting the big screen this Friday! Following incredible popular demand, Anime Limited and Toho Co. Ltd. are excited to announce that the UK and Ireland theatrical release of GODZILLA MINUS ONE has expanded to over 400 cinemas, IMAX, ScreenX and 4DX screens from 15th December 2023.

The highly anticipated film has also received a rapturous response from critics, with the film Certified Fresh with 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, and Jack Bottomley of Starburst Magazine calling GODZILLA MINUS ONE “a thunderous, profound, and exciting cinema experience that is absolutely not to be missed!“.
Celebrating almost seventy-years of being a cultural and cinema icon, this latest film in Toho’s classic series was crafted to be the most terrifying incarnation of the character yet, with a Japan gripped by the helplessness of having already lost everything before this new, monstrous threat emerges. Calling GODZILLA MINUS ONE “the culmination of all the films I have made to date, and one that deserves to be “experienced” rather than “watched” in the theater”, the film is written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki.
