Remember the film Rise with Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis? I know, I barely do either, but it’s one that’s been floating out in post-production hell for a long, long while now.
Recently Sci Fi Wire chatted with another star of the film, Carla Gugino, who told them that she believes it’s finally ready to see the light of day. “I know that they’ve just finished all the scoring and all of that. It’s been an incredibly long process,” she said. “But I do think now it will be released in the near future. I don’t know when, but it’s now done-done, so that’s good.”
In Rise Liu stars as a reporter who is killed by vampires, then comes back to life as one but is out to destroy them all. Gugino took on the role of a hot vampire she-bitch for the Ghost House production, describing her role as “very dark and sexual”.
