A few days ago it was reported that the sexy AnnaLynne McCord, who can be currently seen in the ‘90210’ revamp, maybe in the running for a part in the upcoming ‘Twilight’ sequel ‘New Moon’. McCord would play the character of Heidi. If she gets the part it appears she may be joining young actress Dakota Fanning who is in serious ongoing discussions to play the part of Jane.
This isn’t the first horror related outing for Miss McCord who has previously appeared in last years ‘Day of the Dead’ remake and ‘The Haunting of Molly Hartley’.

“The character is a “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She’s also known as “bait” because of the way she uses her stunning looks to attract humans. In her brief appearance in the book, Bella describes Heidi as having “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty. She has stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.
Sources tell me McCord has auditioned for the role. “It’s not a big part,” one of the sources said. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.””
Chris Weitz will be helming the sequel, which will begin shooting in Washington State and Italy next month, and ‘New Moon’ has been bitten with a November 20 date of release.
