Synopsis:
A young man inherits his grandfather’s orchard and uses the opportunity to make a break from his troubled past. A pruning accident puts him on painkillers and sets off a spiral back into substance abuse and, with it, the need to confront his own issues and the orchard’s hidden secrets. This dark psychological thriller from directors Kerry McArthur and Mark Wolfe has won numerous film festival awards, including Best First-Time Filmmaker at SIFF 2022 and Best Director at Mannheim Arts and Film Festival 2022.
The Orchard was written by Kerry McArthur and Co-Directed by Mark Wolfe and Kerry McArthur. The film stars Lucas Szuch, Kate Webb and Jack Wright.
