    The 12th Annual Salt City Horror Fest Returns to New York this April

    The annual Salt City Horror Fest is back next month with another awesome line-up of special

    guests and 35mm horror movie magic. The event kicks off on Saturday 15th April 2017 at the Palace Theater in

    Syracuse, New York and features a tantilising schedule of classic horror’s for ticket holders to enjoy. Along with

    special screenings such as ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, ‘Re-Animator’ and ‘Critter’s the 12th Annual festival

    will also feature a raffle, trailer premieres and other contests for guests to enjoy.

Horror Fest 2017

    This years’ event features 7 classics that will be screened on 35mm prints which includes Tobe

    Hooper’s terrifying cult favourite ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, John Landis’s genre-changing effort ‘An

    American Werewolf In London’, classic 80’s slasher ‘The Mutiliator’, Dario Argento’s Italian chiller ‘Creepers’ (AKA

    ‘Phenomena’), director Stuart Gordan’s horror favourite ‘Re-Animator’ as well as ‘From Beyond’, and also a

    screening of kooky creature feature ‘Critters’. What’s more is that many of the screenings will be accompanied by

    a special guest.

    The guest list this year includes ‘An American Werewolf In London’ star David Naughton, ‘The

    Mutiliator’ director Buddy Cooper as well as Edmund Ferrell, who also worked on the movie. Brian Yuzna and

    Richard Band who both produced and composed Stuart Gordan’s ‘From Beyond’ and ‘Re-Animator’ respectively.

    There will also be a special appearance by actor John Dugan who played the grandfather in the original ‘Texas

    Chain Saw Massacre’ as well as starring in 2016 horror ‘Belly Timber’, which will also get its own digital

    screening at the event.
