Crow this, crow that…the rumours and hearsay revolving around the planned reimagining of cult comic adaptation ‘The Crow’ have been flapping around our ears for months now. One of the biggest questions being asked was of course simply ‘Who will play the lead?’ formally embodied by the late Brandon Lee in the 1994 feature. Most recently it was ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ star James McAvoy’s name that was being touted around however it seems to be another Brit who is leading the pack to score the role. Tom Hiddleston, better known for his role as the villainous Loki in both ‘Thor’ and ‘Avengers Assemble’ looks like he could be donning the leather for director F. Javier Guttierez. The upcoming feature penned by Cliff Dorfman (‘Warrior’) is based on the comic by James O’ Barr and is hesitantly eyeing an Autumn/Fall start to production.
