The smoking hot Canadian star Laura Vandervoort (below) who we last got to ogle in Seth McFarlane’s hilarious ‘Ted’ is set to star in new werewolf based series ‘Bitten’ for Canada’s Space channel. The new 13 episode series is based upon the novels ‘Women of the Otherworld’ penned by author Kelley Armstrong and will see Vandervoort play the role of Elena Michaels, the world’s only female werewolf. The Entertainment One, Hoodwink Entertainment and No Equal Entertainment co-project will be adapted and exec produced by Daegan Fryklind (‘The Listener’). The 28 year old Vandervoort’s previous credits include ‘Into the Blue 2: The Reef’, long-running superhero series ‘Smallville’, and the short lived revival of sci-fi series ‘V’.
