Our favourite horror hottie over here at the Horror Asylum with no doubt is ’30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden. The 23-year old cutie is racking up horror credits and the lovely lass has been chatting to the fellas over at Dread Central about some of them in an exclusive interview. Miss Bowden discusses the fun she had on board comedy horror project ‘Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil’ (which is set to hit Blu-ray and DVD in the US from 29 November) and anyone who has caught the movie will have surely have had just as much fun. She also briefly touches on her involvement in the sure-to-be gore filled and titillating ‘Piranha 3DD’ sequel from director John Gulager. Bowden (below) also recently wrapped up on Douglas Aarniokoski’s sexual thriller ‘Nurse 3-D’. “I definitely do think there is a message in Tucker & Dale beyond the funny stuff,” said Bowden. “With the way Eli takes the lead characters- characters like you’ve seen so many times in horror movies- and create them in such a way where you see they really aren’t bad people at all and in fact, they’re really not so different from everyone else beyond basic economics. All Tucker and Dale want is a home to call their own and to be happy- which is something most of us want in life, too. The movie just shows us how we all are guilty of judging people unfairly but without ever throwing it in your face; we keep the message light but intact and I liked that.”
