The Top 3 Monster Slot Machines You Need to Try

Monsters! Even if they are hiding in a human form, you instantly recognize them on the screen. If not by their empty gaze, or even a criminally insane one, at least because the heroine of the flick starts screaming when they appear. Monsters have been a part of our lives since the early days of humanity – just think of the Egyptian gods with animal heads, or the various scaries of the Greek and Roman mythology. And they served as an inspiration for many novels, short stories, movies and  – why not? – slot machines over the years. And now I’ll show you the three best slot machine monsters I’ve come across.

    The Wish Master

Make no mistake, this one has nothing to do with the movie with the same name, although it features the same monster. The title character in the game is a djinn, a creature with godlike powers locked inside a lamp. Should anyone be unfortunate enough to free it, gets his or her three wishes, but almost inevitably ends up losing his sanity (or life) soon afterwards. The game has quite a creepy, oriental music, and beautiful visuals to match its topic. The djinn in the game is not evil, though – when freed from the lamp, it will trigger a series of wins.

    Scary Friends

If you liked Monsters, Inc., you will love this cute slot machine. It’s one of the latest games added to the already considerable Euro Palace slot game library, Scary friends online slot.

The monsters featured on the reels of this Euro Palace masterpiece are faces (sort of) that you would see in a cheesy 60s horror movie. There’s the creature that’s a frog-like head with two short legs, the green alien with a huge head, the cyclop and the pink blob with a darling smile. And, of course, the furry, inspired by Sulley from Monsters, Inc.

The resemblance between this Euro Palace title and the Disney/Pixar animated feature becomes even more obvious when the game’s bonus is triggered. Here, players need to “train” their monster of choice in a centrifuge. The monster to fly away the last wins – and pays out a prize to the player.

    So Many Monsters

    Dracula by NetEnt

No list would be complete without the Count that has inspired countless works of literature, movies, series and other works: Dracula. And NetEnt, the developer behind the game, did its best to bring the immortal Transylvanian count back to life in its game. Resembling Dracula Untold rather than Bela Lugosi’s iconic rendition, Dracula routinely turns into a cloud of bats, scaring the living soul out of the villagers. But he shows his romantic side as well, taking a walk in the misty London night with his lover on his arm.
