The seventh and final season of HBO’s hit horror series ‘True Blood’ arrives on screens late next month and Sookie Stackhouse is definitely sad of this fact. A new teaser poster for the final season has been revealed by the network featuring the forementioned Miss Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin) shedding a bloody tear. Whether this has any major significance on how the show will finally play out is still a mystery but could certainly indicate a major death or ‘conversion’ at the very least. Alexander Skarsgård (‘Battleship’), Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer also star. Check out the new poster below.

The series follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard).”
The final season begins on Sunday 22 June at 9:00pm.
