The sexy Genesis Rodriguez -below (‘Man on a Ledge’) has signed on for Blumhouse’s latest haunted house thriller ‘Home’. ‘+1’ helmer Dennis Iliadis will direct the project which saw ‘That 70’s Show’ star Topher Grace pick up the lead role last month. ‘Shutter Island’ star Patricia Clarkson was previously reported to be in negotiations for a role which still appears to be the case at the moment. No word just yet on the details of Rodriguez’s character but for those who can’t wait to catch another big screen outing for the beauty will find solace in the fact that the 26 year old will be appearing in Kevin Smith’s upcoming hybrid horror ‘Tusk’. Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and Leonardo DiCaprio and Appian Way partner Jennifer Killoran will co-produce ‘Home’, whilst Iliadis will helm from a script penned by Adam Alleca.
“A young man (Grace) who, recently released from a mental institution, moves into a newly inherited mansion. Unfortunately for him, he soon begins to believe that the building is haunted by a mysterious supernatural force.”
