Now here’s an interesting piece of recruitment. Writer/director Colin Trevorrow (below) has been hired to take on directorial responsibilities on Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ upcoming dino resurgence ‘Jurassic Park 4’. Who’s Trevorrow I hear some of you ne’er-do-well’s cry? Well he’s the fella behind last years comedy sci-fi feature ‘Safety Not Guaranteed’ starring Aubrey Plaza. That marked the director’s feature debut and since then he has been attached to a potential 3D remake of Disney’s cult classic 80’s sci-fi family flick ‘Flight of the Navigator’. As for ‘Jurassic Park 4’ the script is ready to roll and was penned by ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ scribes Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and Steven Spielberg will serve as Executive Producer. To tide us over before the fourth installment even gets started the original ‘Jurassic Park’ will be unleashed into theatres in 3D on 5th April.
