MALEVOLENCE IN LONG ISLAND
New York-area slasher fans will want to head over to this summers Long Island Film Festival to catch director/writer/producer/composer Stevan Menas MALEVOLENCE. A stylish, no-humor homage to the likes of HALLOWEEN, MALEVOLENCE is about a group of bank robbers who take a mother and her young daughter hostage, and have the bad luck to hole up at an isolated house next door to a hooded, murderous psychopath. The movie screens at the fest Monday, July 14 at 9:30 p.m.; you can check out its official website here.
