"The first movie sets up 'The Collector', the second movie is about 'The Collector's collection, and the third movie is about a couple of people he has collected". Yes that's right folks forget numeric sequels these days its all about how we can twist a little word play to make new releases seem almost like an entirely different entity. Do numbers scare us? Crave Online have been chatting with writer/director Marcus Dunstan ('Saw 3D') who has been talking about a possible threequel to his and writing partner Patrick Melton's ('Piranha 3DD') gruesome survival horror flick 'The Collector', called...you guessed it...'The Collected'. "If we get a chance. It's already written, it's good to go..." says Dunstan. The duo are currently working on a script for 'God of War' so if and when a third entry in the series may occur is anybody's guess.
Meanwhile its predecessor 'The Collection' landed on DVD in the US yesterday so you can pick up your own copy now. The movie stars Josh Stewart ('The Dark Knight Rises'), Christopher McDonald ('The Faculty'), Daniel Sharman, Andre Royo and Navi Rawat.
