‘Bates Motel’ will open its doors once again next March and EW have revealed the first official new image from the upcoming season. The new image features the dysfunctional family unit of Norman, Norma and Dylan, played by Freddy Highmore (‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’), Vera Farmiga (‘Orphan’) and Max Thieriot respectively. The trio are attending the funeral of Norman’s teacher Miss Watson, whom was last seen in a pool of blood in her home at the end of the first season. Kathleen Robertson (‘Boss’), Paloma Kwiatkowski (‘Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters’), Michael Vartan (‘Alias’), Michael Ecklund (‘The Divide’), Rebecca Creskoff and Kenny Johnson all star in the new season along the series regulars featured in the new pic below.
“A modern re-imagining and prequel to the movie Psycho (1960), this story begins with the earlier years of a teenage Norman Bates and his mother Norma who live in an old house overlooking the adjoining motel which they are renovating. The house and hotel both come with secrets of their own as does the new town which the Bates’ now call home.”
