Exciting updates from the camp of the highly anticipated comic book sequel 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For'. The Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez ('From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series') co-directed follow-up to their 2005 cult classic is heading to theatres this August and up to this point we've not been able to clap our eyes or prick up our ears for too much from the project. But now along with three brand new images from the movie and word of a brand new trailer, that should be hitting the web at some point tomorrow, things are certainly changing. The new images feature series newcomer Joseph Gordon-Levit ('Looper') as Johnny, Mickey Rourke as Marv and the sexy Jessica Alba who returns as stripper Nancy Callahan. Josh Brolin, Jamie Chung, Eva Green, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Crystal McCahill, Dennis Haysbert, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Juno Temple and Alexa Vega also appear in the star-studded sequel. Check out the goods below.
"Stuck with nothing but a seedy gumshoe job and some demons, Dwight's thinking of all the ways he's screwed up and what he'd give for one clear chance to wipe the slate clean, to dig his way out of the numb gray hell that is his life. And he'd give anything. Just to feel the fire. One more time. But he can't let himself lose control again, can't ever let the monster out. And then Ava calls. With a new look generating more excitement than ever before, this third edition is the perfect way to attract a whole new generation of readers to Frank Miller's masterpiece!"
'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' will open in US theatres on 22 August and here in the UK a week later.
