Joe Dante’s new comedy horror ‘Burying the Ex’ has reached its post-production stages. And along with this production shift comes a couple of stills, courtesy of STYD, from the project based on the original short film by scribe Alan Trezza. The two images feature one of actor Anton Yelchin (‘Star Trek into Darkness’) and co-star, and all round hottie, Alexandra Daddario (‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’) and the other is a a more highly defined version of a previous image first previewed by Entertainment Weekly featuring Yelchin and Ashley Greene (‘Twilight’). Greene plays Evelyn the ex-girlfriend of Yelchin’s character Max who accidentally dies in a freak accident only to rise from the grave to win back her boyfriend. Check out the images below.
“Max (Yelchin) and Evelyn (Greene) as their relationship takes a nose dive once they move in together. Max discovers how controlling and manipulative Evelyn is but he’s too scared to break up with her. When fate steps in and Evelyn dies in a freak accident, newly-single Max prepares to move on with Olivia (Daddario). His romantic life becomes complicated when Evelyn rises from the grave and sets out to get her boyfriend back, even if that means turning him into one of the undead.”
