Based on the acclaimed novels by author Kelley Armstrong the TV adaptation of ‘Bitten’ managed to become Canadian network Space’s most-watched original series ever. And so news that a second season is on its way comes as no surprise to fans of the show. Space have ordered a second season which will consist of 10 additional one-hour episodes of the werewolf thriller. And in case you missed out first time around the entire first season will be rerun on CTV this Summer. ‘Bitten’ stars the sexy Laura Vandervoort (‘Smallville’), Greyston Holt (‘Alcatraz’), Greg Bryk (‘A History of Violence’), Paul Greene, Steve Lund and Michael Xavier.
“BITTEN has been such an exciting addition to Space,” said Phil King, President – CTV, Sports, and Entertainment Programming. “When we signed on for Season 1 we knew it was a unique series and when fans and critics agreed with us, we knew we had a hit. Here’s to another season of making great television with our terrific production partners.”
“BITTEN has been such a rewarding and collaborative experience,” said J.B Sugar, Executive Producer, No Equal Entertainment. “We are looking forward to producing another fantastic season with partners at Bell Media, Entertainment One Television, and Hoodwink. The Pack is so ready and thankful for the opportunity to run again!”
“As someone who spent much of her childhood in the foster system, Elena (Vandervoort) had always craved a “normal” life and thought she finally found it with her boyfriend Clayton Danvers (Holt). But the secret life he kept from her ended up changing her own life forever. With one bite, Elena was forced to survive within the Pack as a werewolf. Still craving the normal life she lost, Elena takes refuge in Toronto working as a photographer and dating a new man. Hiding her werewolf existence from her ad-exec boyfriend Phillip McAdams (Greene), Elena is pulled back into her former life when bodies turn up in the backwoods of Stonehaven, the rural mansion that has been home to the Pack for generations. Caught between two worlds and two loves, Elena returns to Stonehaven out of duty, offering her support to Clay’s surrogate father and leader of the Pack Jeremy Danvers (Bryk). But once back in the fold, Elena realizes that when push comes to shove she’ll stop at nothing to defend and protect her Pack.”
