CRAVEN DISCUSSES FUTURE
A scooper called SpeedFreak got in touch with Harry over at Ain’t It Cool News and reports on Wes Craven’s latest goings-on…
‘I just got back from the SCREAMFEST screening of Scream and a Q&A with Wes Craven. Some tidbits from the Q&A…
SCREAM 4….Craven said THERE WILL NOT BE A SCREAM 4, at least not with his involvement. He said that the Scary Movie movies basically killed the possibility of a Scream 4, and he isn’t interested in returning to that story.
CURSED….He didn’t really want to talk about it, but he mentioned that things are coming together again and that they’re starting up shooting November 14 for a release date in 2004.
ALICE….he mentioned that Miramax just recently lost the project to somebody else, so now he won’t have any involvement in the project.
HILLS HAVE EYES REMAKE….He said that he and Patrick Lussier are serious about doing a remake of Hills Have Eyes, with Craven producing and Lussier directing.
He also mentioned that he really wants to start writing again, so maybe we’ll see a new movie by WRITER/director Wes Craven soon.’
