VISIT THE HALFWAY HOUSE
Ken Hall (creator of the Puppetmaster series, FX fella) has gathered a talented team of monster lovers for his film The Halfway House, a Lovecraft-inspired roll of celluloid for us to chew on.
Said to be a dangerous concoction of cthulhu mythos, women in prison flicks, and a little bit of AIP goodness, Halfway House concerns a gal who goes undercover at a church-run halfway house for troubled girls looking for her sister who has mysteriously disappeared. It appears this house misplaces girls often, the nun (played by Rock ‘n Roll High School’s Mary Woronov) has an evil streak to her, and the priest has a few secrets of his own. But the main question appears to be: what the hell is in the basement?!
The creators of The Halfway House have sent the Creature Corner a slew of pictures to feast our eyes upon. For more details on Hall’s latest endeavor, a cast and crew breakdown filled with a bunch o’ lovely faces, and a set diary click here for the official site.
Now, here’s some behind-the-scenes pics.
