ROMERO JOINS RIDING THE BULLET
Writer/director Mick Garris tells Fango that Barbara (THE ENTITY) Hershey has indeed signed on to play the mom in RIDING THE BULLET, his Stephen King adaptation that begins shooting in Vancouver next week. And for the film?s choice cameo, zombie godfather George Romero will appear in BULLET as a new character, an art teacher named Mr. Clarkson.
?George is one of the few directors who hasn?t been at one of our Masters of Horror dinners in LA, nor has he done a bit in one of my movies before,? Garris says. ?He?ll be in Vancouver for one day, but it?s for an integral opening scene with the main character, played by Joshua Jackson. Stephen King couldn?t do it, so since George and Steve are the same height??
Romero confirmed to Fango that he?s in BULLET. ?I?m looking forward to working with Mick,? he says. ?I?ve never been to Vancouver before, but I hear the weather is a lot like Pittsburgh: rainy! It should be fun.?
