ROMERO NOT RIDING THE BULLET
Fango pal Mick Garris has a week or so to go on his Stephen King adaptation RIDING THE BILLET, and offered Fango an update on the film. Due to a last-minute scheduling change, George Romero was not available to play the art teacher in RIDING THE BULLET, he says from location in Vancouver. Instead, my pal Matt Frewer [who appeared in Garris THE STAND and QUICKSILVER HIGHWAY] stepped up to the plate this week, and kicked some major butt. He has never acted with zombies before, but made a great 1969-era art professor. Plus, Howard Kaylan, the singer from the Turtles, the Mothers, and Flo and Eddie, has a role in BULLET as well.
