If one hates movie remakes so much, I don't see why anyone wouldn't hate figure remakes just as much.
With the new rumored Movie Maniacs line-up almost secured as true, the future looks to hold nothing but more disappointments....
McFarlane Toys has been less than pleasing the past year with multiple Freddy and Terminator figures, now check out the line-up from one of the most respected action figure sources on the web, Figures.com.....
'Sources close to Figures.com/McFarlaneGuide.com have confirmed that the next installment in McFarlane Toys Movie Maniacs toyline (Series 6) will be exclusively Alien and Predator characters. Already rumored on the net, the line will most likely be made up of: Queen Alien (Deluxe), Dog Alien (Alien 3), as well as Predator 2 (two versions).'
'Our sources indicate that this themed 'Montage' of renown film creatures will allow McFarlane a year break from trying to fill out an assortment - that and totally maximize their Alien/Predator license for the buying figure fan.'
'Rumored 2004 Movie Maniacs include possible characters from upcoming films like Freddy vs. Jason, Jeepers Creepers... maybe even Texas Chainsaw Massacre; the latter which has been re-envisioned for a new feature film directed by Marcus Nispel. The Internet Movie Database describes this flick as a 'less gory and more thrilling remake of the 1974 shocker classic about young adults touring rural Texas and finding trouble in the form of a cannibalistic family.'
