GORE ON THE GREEN IN SLICE
A company called, appropriately enough, Slice Pictures LLC is preparing to shoot the zombie film SLICE. The story is set at a rundown golf course that is reopened after renovations to host a nighttime tournament. Four buddies and their caddie girlfriends oversee the event, little knowing that the course lies atop a long-forgotten cemetery, where illegal chemical dumping and the presence of the players combine to wake the dead. Soon, the ghouls are overrunning the place and feeding on their trapped human prey, and only a mysterious character called the Groundskeeper may be able to help them survive.
Kevin Hershberger, whose Civil War drama WICKED SPRING was recently released on video by Ardustry, is the director/producer, and the script was written by Greg Bilyeu, Woody Lake & Paul Wright; Robert Buker executive-produces. The cast is headed by Kate (PUPPET MASTER: THE LEGACY) Orsini, soap star Michael Swan, Amelia Zontini, Carbon Leaf lead singer Barry Privett and Nathan (THE REAL WORLD) Blackburn. The company is still looking for actors to round out the ensemble as well as investors to complete the financing; all interested parties can check out the movies official website.
