DARK SEEKS NORTH CA CAST & CREW
Burning Grounds Independent Media has announced a casting and crew call for its horror film THREADING OVER DARK. Major crew and acting positions have been filled, but Burning Grounds is still seeking supporting players, assistants to the key technicians and both paid and unpaid crew members for the shoot, which begins May 25 in Northern California. The production is accepting non-union performers and craftspeople; the acting roles theyre seeking to fill are:
Detective Josh Lokken: Lokken is in his late 20s up to late 30s. Lokken is obsessive and driven, with no family to speak of. His only love is pursuit. For 18 months, Lokken has pursued the same killer with no results. He is the partner of the male lead of the film, Mark Foster. Third-billed part.
Father Benson: 50s or 60s, Benson is an aged Catholic priest who assists the protagonist. Mysterious and guarded from the outside world, Benson hides many secrets and has no known family. Major supporting role.
Mary Carter: Between the ages of 38-50. Mary is the mother of Richard Carter, an accused rapist. She is overbearing and conservative, but supportive of her son to the end, convinced of his innocence. Major supporting role.
Dr. Hank Roth: A pediatric oncologist who cares for the daughter of Detective Foster. Can be any age over 35. Minor supporting role.
