CRAZY RALPH DIES
The Friday the 13th Films website has reported that Walt Gorney, who played Crazy Ralph in Sean S. Cunninghams slasher classic and its first sequel, died of natural causes Friday, March 5 at St. Vincents hospital in New York City. The actor will always be best-remembered by genre fans as the local loon who warns the unsuspecting counselors not to go to Camp Crystal Lake (Its got a death curse!), and meets his end by barbed-wire garrotte in FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2, but he also appeared in other genre features like 1977s DAY OF THE ANIMALS and the 1976 remake of KING KONG. His other credits include the early-80s comedies TRADING PLACES and EASY MONEY.
