‘Based on an idea developed at Blue Star by company toppers William Sherak and Jason Shuman along with Revolution genre executive John Hegeman, Totem is described as a psychological horror project in the vein of the The Shining. It centers on a small-town farmer and his family who come upon a scarecrow that ends up scaring more than the crows. ‘
‘Sherak, Shuman and Hegeman are producing Totem, as is Lou Arkoff. Todd Farmer (Jason X) wrote the script to the project, which is being overseen by Revolution’s Todd Garner and Derek Dauchy as well as Blue Star’s Lauren Kisilevsky. Lussier is repped by Paradigm Agency.’
