BUBBA HO-TEP PREMIERE
While Don Coscarellis BUBBA HO-TEP continues to search for distribution, the American Cinematheques The Alternative Screen: Independent Film Showcase program will present the movies Los Angeles premiere Thursday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. BUBBA HO-TEP, as most horror fans know by now, pits Bruce Campbell (as an aged Elvis) and Ossie Davis (playing a man who believes hes JFK) against a soul-sucking Egyptian mummy stalking their nursing home. If you live in the LA area, Fango sez youve got to check this one out, especially since Coscarelli and Campbell are scheduled to be present (subject to availability); a short film to be announced will run before the feature.
